Simons Prime Burgers in Windsor

One of the best burger joints I've ever been to. Customize your toppings and amazing poutines. I've always gotten the Canadian burger and it's never failed me. (it comes with peameal bacon!!!!!) Always come here for lunch if I can.

Fries are good. Found bones in both my burger and poutine.

When there with my mom, we were very hungry... Both were very satisfied with our choices... She had a Bourbon hamburger and I had a a Montreal poutine (you can see it on the picture). I definitely will be back.

Very disappointed. Bun was stale. Bacon undercooked. Took one bite of my burger and threw it right out. Which is very said because it was quite pricey. Half of the fries were brown on the ends; did not look/taste appealing. Husbands poutine wasn't that great ether. Again super disappointed 😞 Do not think I will be going back.

Found it very odd that people have to wear a mask to enter the store yet not one employee had a mask on yet they are out in public before work I think if it is manditory for the public to wear masks it should also include anyone working in the food industry under the public health act it should be manditory for anyone working in the hospitality and food sector should be required to wear masks to support the health and saftey not only to your employees but the public as well

Absolutely terrible customer service and extremely rude workers. They close a half an hour before advertised. We called from the parking lot and they put the phone off the hook. The door was locked. We called again and they claim to have 15 people inside. Well what do you know, they were actually cleaning already and had no one inside.

Food is okay. Customer services are poor. This restaurant mind as well don't serve out of country people/Americans. Once my total was given; I asked the cashier for payment exchange in U.S. currency. She said that it will still be the same price. I asked if I can pay in card. She said other card payments are fine except American Express. Then, I decided to pay in U.S. currency. In returned, she gave me back Canadian change back. This restaurant is cheating out the system of outer country people/American money. To all, you don't want to get scammed, DO NOT go here. Basically, I just paid my meals closed to $50.00 for 3 poutines. Bad Business!

Poutine is one of the greatest I've ever had. A decent size for the price and it could be your whole meal. Burgers were good too.Only noticed they didn't wear gloves when preparing and cooking.

If you want a burger that could have been made 30 years ago in a diner or or mom and pop burger stand, then this place is for you. Great service great food and the fries are fresh cut for every order 👍

Burger cook has no idea how to properly cook burgers. We stood and watched while he used his flipper to repeatedly squash them flat against the grill, squeezing all the juices out of them. Even teenagers who work at McDonald's know that you don't squeeze the juices out of burgers - they need their juices to cook properly! Our burgers were as flat, dry and unappetizing as charcoal briquettes by the time we got them. I had heard such good things about this restaurant, but the burgers were awful and the fries had a horrible clay-like texture. I will definitely never be back, and I'm quite shocked by the number of good reviews here.

Simon's prime has a great poutine. The menu offers a variety of burgers and poutine. Combos available with Pepsi on fountain. It's always better when you can eat in but still does well to go. Good idea is to take the gravy kn the side or extra cook your fries. French fries are fresh cut which make a big difference in a curd poutine.

A great local treat. Burgers a cooked fresh and to perfection. The service is always quick and on point. I recommend getting your fries with the Cajun seasoning.

Omg so the burgers are hands down the best in Windsor; Although the poutine is unparalleled anywhere. Ever. It is just soul food . You just feel happy. Like so happy; and full. Did I mention the ginormous portions??? Like 25 stars for real.

The hamburger was great you could tell everything was so fresh from the meat to the fries. I mostly went because I was told Simon's had the best poutine in Windsor I would have to disagree. The food was still awesome even the plain fries were so good and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely go back to Simon's Prime Hamburgers for the burger and fries.

Had a Greek burger. It was delicious. Next time would probably get a bit extra tzatziki sauce on it tho. It was a little dry. Not the patty, but with all the feta (tons of feta) I think it would've been good with a little extra sauce.

I love this place. The fries (and poutines) are to die for and helpings are huge, and are the best I've had outside of Five Guys. Burgers are fantastic and I love the fact you can choose your own toppings and sauces. The beef tastes like really good quite beef. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the buns: the burger buns are too big (and sometimes dry) for the burgers.

Great restaurant! I visit here for lunch regularly, there is always quick service. The food is fresh and hot. Good portion sizes. Bathroom is clean and wheelchair accessible. Staff are polite and good at there job. Prices are very good for real food with real ingredients. Parking may be tight or full, but there’s parking across street and it’s worth the walk. Check them out and support local business.

Great poutines

Every time I come here the burgers are delicious and the fries are perfectly seasoned. I would definitely recommend trying the burgers because they are huge. The service is fast and is in a good location on Tecumseh.
